I give my condolences to you Mattison family. Certainly this is a difficult for you right now. It is not easy to cope with this kind of loss. Isaiah 41:10 always helps me, for it says, "Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be anxious, for I am your God. I will fortify you, yes, I will help you, I will really hold on to you with my right hand of righteousness". Jehovah God tells us not to be afraid, rather, we can gain comfort from the hope He promises us at John 5:28, 29, where it says, those in the memorial tombs, will come out. So we will be able to see our loved ones again. If you would like to learn more about this hope from the bible, please feel free to contact me. Until then, I hope you receive comfort from these scriptures.

Mr. James C. Mattison was a very effective teacher, coach, youth leader, great church worker, humanitarian, and role model for African American youth throughout the State of South Carolina, Prince Georges County, Maryland, and in Southern Georgia. He was quite a MAN and ONE OF A KIND! He was my role model and a MAN whom I admired very much.

Peace,

Albert Franklin, Sr.
