Bessie Lee Keese, 94, of 128 Sherrard Road, Iva, SC, died Saturday, May 29, 2021, at Iva Health and Rehabilitation. She was the daughter of Pleasant and Rosa Lee Davis Reed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Thaddeus Keese, and four brothers, Eugene, Jerry, Allen, and Sylvester Reed.

Bessie leaves behind to cherish fond memories, her sisters, Rosa Mae Richardson of Anderson, SC, and Martha Ann Richardson of Iva, SC; her loving niece, Dorothy Hall, whom she lived with for 32 years; and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

The viewing will be on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at D.B. Walker Funeral Services in the chapel, from 9 am until the hour of service which starts at 11:30 am. Interment will follow after at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Iva, SC.

The family is at the home.
