Mr.Calvin "Donya" Scott, 68, departed this life on February 14, 2017 at Anmed hospital. He was the son of the late Edd and Ella Boston Scott. He is also preceded in death by his brothers Eddie Scott and David Scott, sisters Dorothy Lee and Margaret Curry, and grandparents Dave and Rosella Boston and Governor and Annie Scott.

Calvin was the fourth of seven children. He was married to Leatha Ann McDowell Scott for 28 yrs. They leave to cherish fond memories one daughter, Katina McDowell, one granddaughter, JaKeina McDowell, two great grandchildren; Drayshon and Andraya McDowell, two sisters; Ruth Rochester and Linda Freeman, all of Anderson,SC. He also has four sister in laws; Mary Scott, Glen Mattison,Ella Mae Wilkerson, and Jean Keesley,three brother in laws; Walter Rochester,Ted Mattison,and James McDowell.

Calvin joined Mt Moriah Baptist Church at an Early age. He attended at New Deal School and retired from Anderson County Road Maintenance and did part time yard work for Laura Joe Berry.
