Channing D. Chester, 32, of Lexington, SC, passed away on Tuesday morning, August 9, 2022, at AnMed Health Medical Center. He was the son of Lucius Johnson III and Angelia Chester Sloan.

He leaves to cherish fond memories his parents, two sons, Landon and Logan Robinson; five daughters, Kimaya Clarke, Makiyah Chester, Bre'Niya Earl, Chloe Clark and Zyasia Chester, all of Anderson, SC; five brothers, Nicholas (Tyrea) Chester, his twin, Spencer (Samantha) Chester, Vinson "Cory" McDowell, all of Belton, SC; Brandon Johnson of Texas, and Marquez Sloan of Anderson, SC; four sisters, Maya Johnson and Nikki Johnson of Raleigh, NC, and Daphne and Shanekuia Sloan of Anderson, SC.

Public viewing for Channing will be from 3-8 pm Friday, August 12, 2022, at D.B. Walker Funeral Services and the funeral will be 2 pm Saturday, August 13, 2022, at Welfare Baptist Church Gymnasium. Interment will be 10 am Sunday at Oaklawn Cemetery.

The family is at the home of his brother Nicholas Chester, 105 Major Meadows Rd. Belton, SC.
