Doris Yvonne Thompson Smith was born on June 29, 1944, in Brooklyn, NY to the late Raymond Thompson and late Grace Oliver Thompson. She was preceded in death by her daughter Victoria Smith and son Rodney Smith. At an early age, Doris attended P.S 150 in Brooklyn, NY where she completed school. She was a member of New Life Baptist Church in Brooklyn, NY. Doris met and united in matrimony with Robert Smith and they resided in Brooklyn, NY. Doris later in life moved back to Anderson, SC to be with family where she was a devoted mother and foster parent for many years. Doris later in life joined Center of Faith Community Church in Pendleton, SC where she was a devoted church member. She leaves to cherish her memories, son Timothy A (Valerie) Thompson; daughter, Dominique Jade Smith; seven grandchildren Tynita, Valerie, Vashonda, Timothy Jr, Timpriss, Tamaris and Elijah; eight great-grandchildren, a great great grandson and a host of cousins, aunts and friends.
