Eugene Boston, 91, was born on June 18, 1928, to the late Dave Boston and Rozella Robinson Boston.

On Sunday, June 30, 2019, at 9:30 pm he was called home at his residence in Anderson, SC. to be with the Lord,

Eugene (Tobe), retired from Florio Plumbing in New York where he was a diligent employee. His heart for others led him to be a servant to others.

Eugene (Tobe) received his primary education at the Mt. Moriah School in Starr, SC, and he joined Mt. Moriah Baptist Church at an early age and served faithfully until he moved to New York.  While in New York he attended the Community Church of Astoria, NY, where he was very active and well known in the community.

Eugene (Tobe) was preceded in death by his parents, Dave and Rozella Robinson Boston; his sons, Thomas Boston and Jerry Boston of New York; sisters, Ella Mae Scott and Mable Johnson; brothers, David (Haybay) Boston, Clyde (Dip) Boston and Jessie (Tap) Boston.

Eugene (Tobe) is survived by his loving wife, Catherine Zebedee Boston, of the home; granddaughter, Tanesha Boston, of Roosevelt, NY; brother, Charles "Pete" (Willie Lee) Boston, Anderson, SC; daughter-in-law, Veronica Boston of Chesapeake, VA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends

The family is at the home, 224 Hillcrest Circle, Anderson, SC.
