Mrs. Evelyn Wilson Brown, 92, died Wednesday, January 18, 2017, at the home of her daughter in Stone Mountain, GA. She was the widow of Roger Brown and the daughter of the late Marshall and Ella Sullivan Wilson.

After leaving her birthplace in Hamburg, Pennsylvania and moving to Anderson, SC, she became a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church where she served as a Deaconess. Mrs. Brown was the owner of Brown's Beauty Shop, where she was a beautician. Also, she was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Mistletoe Chapter 74, member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and former member of the City Wide Beautician Club.

Evelyn is survived by daughter Linda Brown Jackson of Stone Mountain, GA, four grandchildren, and three great- grandchildren.
