Evelyn Sandra Owens, 76, of 814 Gadsden Square, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at her home.

Born in Anderson, SC, on February 18, 1950, she was the daughter of Major Oliver and Alice Glenn Oliver.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, two infant sons, two grandchildren, three brothers, L.C. Oliver, Major Oliver, Jr., and Johnny C. Oliver, two sisters, Mary Young and Joyce Williams, and one sister-in-law, Janice Oliver.

Evelyn leaves to cherish fond memories, two sons, Reggie and Corrie Owens, both of Anderson, SC; two daughters, Kenya Owens and Toria Lathasa Owens Rogers (Jermaine) both of Anderson, SC; three brothers, Charles James Oliver (Norma Jean) and Joe Michael Oliver, both of Anderson, SC; Jessie Oliver, Sr. (Mary), of Iva, SC; nine grandchildren and one sister-in-law, Catherine Oliver, of Anderson, SC

Funeral service is 2 pm Wednesday in the Marvin R. Mattison Memorial Chapel, D. B. Walker Funeral Services, with burial to follow in Westview Cemetery.  The body will be on view on Tuesday from 12 noon until 5 pm. The family is at the home of her daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Jermaine (Toria) Rogers, 501 W. Pinedale Road, Anderson, SC.
