Fredda Dale Norris, 70, departed this life on Wednesday, June 29, 2017 at Hospice of the Upstate in Anderson, South Carolina. She was born August 23, 1946 in Anderson, South Carolina to the late Noskque Norris and Helen Clinkscales Norris.

Fredda left Iva, South Carolina at a youthful age for New York where she spent many years working in a domestic capacity for several families. After her retirement, she was able to return to the South and reunite with her twin sister, Etta Gail Norris and family. Fredda made her home in Central, South Carolina.

Fredda joined Pleasant Grove Baptist Church as a child. After leaving the South, she continued her spiritual upbringing and grew stronger in her faith as she matured.  Once in Central, South Carolina, she began attending New Hope Baptist Church regularly until her health no longer allowed her to attend. She loved her church and her church family.

Fredda leaves to cherish fond memories, children, Charles Bernard Norris of Spartanburg, South Carolina and Sharon Ogbeuze (Godwin) of Charlotte, North Carolina; a loyal and devoted nephew, Terrell (Michelle) Norris; sisters, Ida Norris of Detroit, Michigan and Cora Norris of Bronx, New York; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The family is at the home of her nephew, Mr. Terrell (Michelle) Norris, 33 Fawn Hill Drive, Anderson, SC.
