Helen Pauline Dorn

Anderson, SC – Helen Pauline Dorn, of 212 King Arthur Drive, died Thursday, October 31, 2019, at her home.  Born in Abbeville, SC, she was the widow of Rufus Earl Dorn, and the daughter of the late Robert and Allie Mae Nance Harrison.

Mrs. Dorn had spent her early adult life in Michigan where she was employed with General Motors and later relocated to Anderson, SC.  She was of the Methodist faith and attended Bethel AME Church.

She leaves to cherish loving memories, two sons, Torin (Rhonda) Dorn, Charlotte, NC and Rufus E.  (Monica) Dorn, III, Southfield, MI; sister, Mary Greer, Belton, SC and an aunt, Regina Young, raised in the home as a sister.  She is also survived by six loving grandchildren, Torin Dorn, Jr., Deven Dorn, Myles Dorn, Nicholas Dorn, Kennede Dorn and Rufus E. Dorn, IV.

Funeral services are 11 am Saturday at Bethel AME Church, Anderson, SC with interment in Oakbrook Memorial Park, Hodges, SC.  The family will receive friends on Friday at the funeral home from 4 pm - 6 pm.
