J D Richardson

Greenville, NC - JD Richardson, 75, died Thursday, January 25, 2018 at a Hospice House.  Born in Starr, SC he was the son of the late James Collier Richardson and Annie Mae Sloan Richardson.  JD was a graduate of New Deal High School and a retired employee, after 39 years, of the US Government Treasury Department. After retirement, JD and his wife, Dorothy Richardson relocated to Greenville, NC.

JD is survived by his wife, Dorothy Richardson, Greenville, NC; three sons, Joe Terry Willingham, Tennessee; Reggie Richardson, Greenville, NC and Daniel Richardson, Maryland; three sisters, Cora Frances Webster, Alexandria, VA; Mary Richardson Thomas and Ruby Nell Richardson, both of Anderson, SC; three brothers, Joe Willie, John William and Lester Eugene Richardson, all of Anderson, SC.

He was preceded in death by his parents and seven siblings, Gladys Boyd, Dorothy Blanding, Clara Richardson, Ethel Louise Richardson, Rev. James Richardson, L.M. Richardson and Bobby Ray "Bird" Richardson.

Funeral services are 1 pm Saturday, February 3, 2018, at Holly Hill Free Will Baptist Church, 755 Porter Road, Greenville, NC 27834.  Phone # 252-752-8610.
