James T "Bro Lewis" Clinkscales, 77, of 406 Short St Anderson, SC departed this life on Dec 7th at Rainey Hospice House after a brief illness. Born August 8th 1943. He was reared by his grandmother Fannie Wakefield Rice after the untimely death of his parents.

Also he was a graduate of Westside High and serving in the Vietnam War as a member of the US Navy.

He was preceded in death by his parents TC and Lucille Clinkscales and his only sibling Christine Rice. He is survived by his nieces and nephews Christopher Rice, Stephanie Rice, Clarence (Iesha) Rice, Bridgette (James) Herron and Lanell (Leroy) Rollins. He also leaves behind extended family, neighbors and lifelong friends.

A memorial service will be held December 29th at MJ Dolly Cooper cemetery at 3 pm.

The family are in their respective homes.
