James Albert Jones Jr, 54, of 107 Mt Nebo Church Rd., passed away in his home on Tuesday morning July 7, 2020. Born in Anderson SC, he was the son of Albert Lee and Lucille Bell Jones.

James graduated from Crescent High Scool in Iva, SC, and attended Holly Creek Baptist Church in Starr, SC. He worked as a Maintenance Technician at the textile plant Cushman in Williamston SC.

James is preceded in death by his parents, paternal grandparents, Alphonso Bentley and Rosa Lee Hunter, maternal grandparents, Emma Bell and James Bell and sister Jennifer Gray.

He leaves behind to cherish fond memories his wife, Deborah Jones of the home; four sons, Xtravus Aiken, Jametrius Albert Jones, Jayterious Marquius Jones and Jalen D'untray Jones, all of Honea Path SC; four brothers Tommy Lee McBride of Iva, SC, Roy Lee Bell of NC, Randy McBride of Greenville, SC, and Arthur E. Jones of Anderson, SC;  three sisters, Emma Jean Bell and Willie McBride both of Iva, SC and Elizabeth Baskin of Starr, SC; two aunts Geneva Jones of Iva, SC and Julia Hunter of Anderson, SC; two uncles Cleve and Samuel Hunter of Anderson, SC; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Sunday, July 12th, at 1 pm in the chapel of D. B. Walker Funeral Services and his body will be on view Saturday, July 11th, from 4-8 pm.
