James Lomax Jr. 71, born in Anderson, SC, he was the son of James Lomax Sr. and Idell Pressley.

James is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Doris Crawford and brother, James K. Lomax.

James leaves behind to cherish fond memories his wife, Barbara Brawner; two sons, James Burns and Tony Norris; two daughters, Kimberly Chester (Melvin) and Ebony Fowler; sister, Ethel Lomax-Hiott; brother, Lonnie Smith; and special nephew Lonnie Martin, all of Anderson, SC; one great-grandchild and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

The family will be receiving friends at the home of his daughter Kimberly and Melvin Chester,1137 Pinetop Rd. Belton, SC 29627, from Wednesday, July 24, 2024 - Friday, July 26, 2024.

A memorial service will be held on 1pm Friday, July 26, 2024 at MJ "Dolly" Cooper Veteran's Cemetery.
