JAMES ROBERT THURMAN

Greenville, SC – James Robert Thurman, 74, passed away Thursday, June 24, 2021, at Greenville Post-Acute Care..

Born in Pelzer, SC, he was the son of Annie Thurman McIntosh and James Leroy Rosemond.  He was a 1965 graduate of Bryson High School, a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church, Pelzer, SC, and he had worked in the beauty shop "One Step Up".

He was preceded in death by his mother, father, and brother, Terry McIntosh.

He leaves to cherish fond memories, Conwell McIntosh, Greenville, SC; Jerome McIntosh (Stacy), Greer, SC; two loving cousins, Eula Duncan, Pelzer, SC and Hattie Chapman, Greenville, SC; four nieces,  Kesia McGowan, Nikki, Brandi and Connie McIntosh;  one nephew, Terry McIntosh, Jr., cousins, other relatives, and many friends.

Funeral services are 11 am Friday at Shady Grove Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  The body is at D. B. Walker Funeral Services and will be on view Thursday from 4 – 8 pm and placed in the church Friday at 10 am.

Family members are at their respective homes.
