Pendleton, SC - Janie Marie Green, 61, died Thursday, May 11, 2023, at Prisma Health Baptist Easley Hospital.  Born in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of Roseanna Garrison.  She was a member of Silver Spring Baptist Church and was retired from Clemson University.

Janie was preceded in death by her mother, one son, George Anthony Green, four brothers, Chester Scott, Jr., Henry Paul Scott and infant twins.

Janie leaves to cherished loving memories, one daughter, Brianna Brown, of the home; grandson, Anthony Daymian Green, Central, SC; a loving life-time partner Ralph J. Brown, Pendleton, SC; one brother, George Scott (Millie), Pendleton, SC; special niece, Gina Campbell; special nephew, William O'Neil Webb; special cousin, Audrey Brown; God-daughter, Sasha Martin; other nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Funeral services are 3 pm Sunday, May 21, 2023, at Silver Springs Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Webb Cemetery.  The public viewing will be 3-7, Saturday at D. B. Walker Funeral Services and the body will be placed in the church at 2 pm Sunday.
