Lamont Brawner, 56,  was born August 19, 1960, to late Floyd P. Brawner and Betty M. Brawner.  He departed this life on June 18, 2017 at his home.

He retired from Hexcel Corporation after twenty five years of service.  Lamont was an authentic coach and mentor to various individuals in Anderson County.    He showed unconditional love to his family and everyone he had a chance to meet.  His heart radiated with compassion and heartfelt love that would change an atmosphere.  Lamont was a member of Promise Land Church.

He leaves to mourn, his wife of twenty-nine wonderful years Angela Winbush Brawner; children, Tanisha Brawner, Jerrel Brawner, and Roshanda Brawner all of Anderson, SC; mother; Betty M. Brawner of Anderson, SC; brothers, Ronnie Bruce, Nathan Page of Anderson, SC and Frederick Brawner of Dayton, Ohio; sisters, Delores Jenkins, Barbara Brawner, Sandra Brawner, Hope Brawner, Nicole Brawner all of Anderson, SC;  mother-in-law; Cora Winbush of Anderson, SC and a host of nieces and nephews that he cherished dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father, sister, Hannah Brawner Jackson and nephew Josiah Brawner.

The family is at the home, 1065 Whitner Drive, Anderson, SC and the home of his mother, Betty Brawner, 503 Greenleaf Drive, Anderson, SC.
