Laura Frances Boston

Anderson, SC - Laura Frances Johnson Boston, 92, widow of David Boston,was called home to eternal rest on Friday May 17, 2019, at NHC Healthcare.

Frances was born in Starr, SC to John Thomas and Rosa Lee Bell Johnson.  Frances worked for the Drake Family in Starr, SC as a domestic servant for 40 years. She joined Mt. Moriah Baptist Church at an early age and served faithfully until her health declined.  She was a member of WMU Circle #2.

During Frances' early years she loved cooking, baking, canning, sewing, and planting beautiful flowers in her yards.  Most of all Frances loved reading her Bible, listening to gospel music, watching game shows and spending quality time with her family.

Laura Frances leaves to cherish fond memories her #1 caregiver/cousin/sister-in-law, Willie Lee (Charles "Pete") Boston of Anderson, SC; Godchildren, Mae Boston Scott, Eveline Boston Moss, Johnny and James Boston; brother-in-law Eugene (Catherine) Boston; special cousins, Malline Frazier, Eddie Scott, Shirley Butler and Frances Lee; the Johnson Family and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Funeral services are 1 pm Wednesday in the Marvin R. Mattison Memorial Chapel, DB Walker Funeral Home.  The body will be on view Tuesday from 12 noon until 8 pm and Wednesday from 10 am until the hour of service.

The family is at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Boston, 132 Knowlandwood Circle, Anderson, SC.
