Lester Hudson, 73, of 317 F Street, passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022, at AnMed Health Medical Center.

Born in Abbeville, SC, he was the son of John Allen "Babe" Hudson and Lula Mae Cobb Hudson. In his earlier years he was employed with Anderson County as a heavy equipment operator. He also had worked at various restaurants as a cook.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Antonio Jermaine Hudson, brother, L. H. Hudson, sister, Eva M. Hudson, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He leaves to cherish fond memories, his wife, Dedra Miles Hudson, of the home; three sons, Lester Junior "Bam" Hudson (Ann), Maleik LaBrandon Miles and Michael Lamar Miles, all of Anderson, SC; three sisters, Johnnie Mae Hudson, Evelyn Barmore (John) and Dorothy Rivera (Roberta), all of Anderson, SC; brother, Frank Hudson (Juanita); twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and many other relatives.

Funeral services are 1 pm Thursday in the Marvin Mattison Memorial Chapel, D. B. Walker Funeral Services and public viewing will be Wednesday from 4-8 pm.

The family is at the home.
