Deacon Mack Charles Moss, 78, transitioned from this life to his heavenly home on Monday, July 1, 2022.  He was born in Anderson County on June 12, 1944, to Nathaniel Moss and Alberta Polite Moss.

Deacon Moss was a member of Zion Pentecostal Holiness Church where he was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and filled with the Holy Ghost for twenty-one years.  He was a faithful saint until the end.  His quote was, "Do good and the good will come back to you!"  He will truly be missed by all that loved him.

Deacon Moss was a self-employed barber who worked at Westside Barber Shop.

Deacon Moss was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Joe Nathan Moss.

Deacon Moss leaves to cherish his memories, his devoted and loving wife, Mary Austin Moss; three daughters, Cheryl Moss Robinson and Tara Moss (Morris) Sally, both of Anderson, SC; Teresa Latimer Moss of Greenville, SC; one son, Elijah Mack Moss, of Anderson, SC; two sisters, Janie Moss Rainey and Evelyn Martin of Anderson, SC; eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be 1 pm, Monday at Zion Pentecostal Holiness Church with burial to follow in Anderson Memorial Gardens.  Public viewing will be Sunday from 3-7 at D. B. Walker Funeral Services.

The family is at the home, 125 Meadow Hills Drive, Anderson, SC.
