Mary Jane Bell Scott, 76, widow of Eddie Scott Jr., died Friday, November 2, 2018, at AnMed Health Medical Center.

Born in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of Johnny Walter Webb and Merline Bell.  She was a retired textile worker and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Willie Mae "Cookie" Scott, one grandson, Sir'Vonte Howard and one great-grandson, David Coe.

Mary Jane leaves to cherish fond memories, daughter, Malline Frazier, son, Eddie Scott (Maria), seven grandchildren, Derrick and Terrill Johnson, both reared in the home, Cristina and Antonio Scott, Sakira Howard, Karissa Tucker and Tristan Scott;  and six great-grandchildren, Jayda, Elyse, Cayden, Zoie, Makenna and Jace; loving sister, Willie Lee Boston (Charles "Pete"), brother, George Brownlee (Ophelia), and "special cousin", Laura Frances Boston. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends

Funeral services are 1 pm Tuesday in the Marvin R. Mattison Memorial Chapel, D. B. Walker Funeral Home and the body will be on view Monday from 12 noon - 8 pm.  Burial will be in Westview Cemetery.

The family is at the home of her daughter Malline Frazier 128 Knowlandwood Circle, Anderson, SC.
