Mercedes Del Carmen Flores, 65, of 124 Ridge Drive, Williamston, SC, died Monday, January 30, 2023, at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital.  Mercedes, the daughter of Luis Flores and Maria Eloisa Rodriquez Biuda de Florez was born in El Salvador.  Mercedes was a member of Iglesia El Dios Viviente, Inc. Church.  She was a housewife and had lived in this country for twenty-two years.

Mercedes is survived by her loving husband, Jose Rodriquez, who shared this loving story of his life with her.  They met in 1980 and were together for six years and then they went their separate ways, but their love for each other was strong. After many years apart, and thru God's purpose they were able to be together for these past four years. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services are 1 pm Monday in the Marvin Mattison Memorial Chapel of D. B. Walker Funeral Services with Rev. Fernando Irias officiating.  Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
