Obituary

Minnie Lee Belton Clinkscales, widow of William Carl Clinkscales, was born August 3, 1954 to William Jesse and Bedie Mae Adams Belton and departed this life May 9, 2018 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

Minnie was a graduate of T.L. Hanna High School, class of 1972, and was an LPN at Anderson Memorial Hospital and Brookside Nursing Home until her health declined.  She joined Shiloh Baptist Church at an early age and was a lead singer on the Sanctuary Choir.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one brother, Charles Belton, one sister, Bessie Ann Jones, sister-in-law, Amanda Belton and a nephew Charles Eric Belton.

Minnie leaves to cherish fond memories, three daughters, Carla and Nalania Belton and Lashunta Clinkscales; one brother, Eugene Belton; one sister, Geraldine B. Hunter; nine grandchildren, Sharica, Tiffany and Saverio Belton; Denisha Turman, Teunta, Zantavious, Daliah and Taliah Tate and Sedrquez Oglesby; two great-grandchildren, Khamari Edwards and Harmoni Hadden.  She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

The family is at the home of her daughter, Carla Belton, 3498 B Deerwood Trail,Anderson,SC.
