Portia R. Pitts, 66, passed away, Sunday, September 8, 2024.  Born in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Lenora Hunter Pitts.

She leaves to cherish loving memories, two sons, Justin Pitts of Anderson, SC and Grantt Pitts of the US Navy; one brother, Robert Pitts, Jr. of Washington, DC; five grandchildren, Jaliyah Pitts, Jusiah Pitts, Jahzir Pitts, Jaire Pitts and Jetson Pitts, all of Anderson, SC; two nieces, Lenora Pitts of Richmond, VA and Bobbie Pitts of Washinton, DC; one nephew, Jason Pitts, Jr of Anne Arundel County, MD; one ride or die childhood best friend/sister, Shelia Allen of Washington, DC and a host close cousins and family that she stayed with, con, scam and hustled, but was still loved by them dearly and will be truly missed.

Memorial service Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 4 pm.
