Rebecca Ward, 74, of 912 Railroad Street, Anderson, SC, passed away at her home on Sunday, January 25, 2026.

Born in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Rufus and Rebecca Boyd Burriss.

Rebecca leaves to cherish fond memories: two daughters, Vernitta Ward and Cindy Ward, both of Anderson, SC; two sons, Marco Ward (Crystal Campbell) and Randy Ward, both of Anderson, SC; one sister, Rossie Earle of Anderson, SC; 17 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service is 1 pm on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Mt. Carmel CME Church with burial to follow in Anderson Memorial Gardens.  The body will be on view Wednesday from 9 - 11 am and will be put in the church at 12 noon.
