ROBERT EDWARD SMITH JR.,

Williamston, SC - Robert E. Smith Jr., 73, of 21 Coker Circle, Williamston, SC, died Sunday, January 27, 2019, at his home.

Born in Rainelle, West Virginia, he was the son of Robert Edward Smith Sr. and Lucille Smith.

He was retired from Fluor Daniel Enterprise and had been in the Anderson area for over thirty years.  In his early years he served in the US Navy and was a fireman.

He leaves to cherish fond memories, his wife Theresa Haney Smith, of the home, six sons, David (Tonya) Trusty, Ohio; David (Patricia) Frederick, Kentucky; Jessie (Kari) Still, Columbus, OH; James (Wendy) Smith, Brandon Smith and Daniel (Britney) Smith, all of South Carolina; one daughter, Michelle Smith, South Carolina; 40 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren

Funeral services are 10 am Monday in chapel of funeral home. Burial will be private.
