Rogers E. Hunter, Jr., 45, of 101 Tate Drive, Anderson, SC, passed away suddenly on December 30, 2025, at AnMed Medical Center.

Rogers was born on August 6, 1980, to Rogers Hunter and Maria Norine Howard Hunter.

Rogers was preceded in death by his mother and brother, Marcus Hunter.

Rogers leaves to cherish loving memories, his wife, Tiffany Hunter of the home; three sons, Quaterius Hunter, Jaylen Hunter and Ju'Marcus Hunter, all of Anderson, SC; one daughter, Tyesha Mattison, of Anderson, SC; father, Rogers Hunter, Sr., of Anderson, SC; one brother, Jomo Mattison (Angie), of Belton, SC; one sister, Angelic Hunter, of Anderson, SC; three nephews, Darius Mattison and Lashaun Eastrich, both of Anderson, SC; Demetre' Mattison, of Belton, SC; three great nieces, three great nephews, a special friend/sister-in-law, Ashley Scott Lewinson, of Severn, MD and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Funeral service is 2:00 pm Tuesday at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church and the body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. Public viewing is Monday from 2-6 pm at D. B. Walker Funeral Services.
