Rufus Earl Dorn, 75, of 212 King Arthur Drive, Anderson, SC, died Sunday, November 4, 2018, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Greenwood, SC, he was the son of the late Elliott Dorn Sr. and Birdie B. Miller Dorn. After high school he moved to Detroit where he worked at Chrysler Corporation. After retirement he relocated to Anderson, SC. He is survived by his wife, Helen Pauline Harrison Dorn of the home; two sons, Torin D. (Rhonda) Dorn of Charlotte, NC and Rufus E. (Monica) Dorn Jr. of Southfield, MI.; six grandchildren Torin Dorn Jr., Myles Dorn, Nicholas Dorn, Devin Dorn, Kennede Dorn, and Rufus Dorn IV; four siblings Calvin (Betty) Dorn, Elliott (Jean) Dorn Jr., Mildred Lynn Thomas and Belinda Turner all of Greenwood, Sc. Funeral services are 12 noon Monday at Mt. Zion Church of Coronaca, 619 Highway 246, Greenwood, SC with burial in Oakbrook Memorial Park, Hodges, SC.  The body will be placed in the church Monday at 11 am.
