Thomas Gerald Woody, 70, of 105 Louisiana St, Honea Path, SC, passed away on October 17, 2022, at Callie and John Rainey Hospice House in Anderson, SC.

Born in Honea Path, SC., he was the son of James Donalds and Mildred Woody and was reared in the home with grandparents, Adger and Lucille Arnold Woody.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, five aunts, Mrs. Ruth Cobb, Mrs. Helen Arnold, Mrs. Adel Davis, Mrs. Betty Sue Woody and Mrs. Barbara Cobb; four uncles, Mr. John Woody, Roger Woody, Mr. Roy Lee Woody, and Mr. Mack Larry Woody and one brother, James Woody.

He leaves behind to cherish fond memories his five sons, Thomas Brownlee and Keith Woody of Donalds, SC, Thomas Butler, of Honea Path, SC, Anthony Talley of Charlotte, NC, and Messiah Woody of Honea Path, SC; three daughters, Keisha Glenn, Corsica Butler, and Coretta Woody, all of Honea Path, SC; two brothers,  Allen Baker, of Dayton, OH and Nelson Latimer of Anderson, SC; twenty grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; two special aunts, Ms. Lila Mae Woody and Mrs. Shirley Cobb, both of Honea Path, SC

Graveside services are 3 pm Sunday at East View Cemetery, Honea Path, SC. Public viewing is 3 -7 pm Saturday at the Ollie Stewart Memorial Chapel, D. B. Walker Funeral Services, Honea Path, SC.  The family will receive friends from 5:30 pm until 6:30 pm.
