Walter "Bug" Frank Simpson, 71, departed this earthly life on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at the home of his daughter, Tawanda Walker.

Born in Anderson, SC, he was the son of William Frank Simpson and Annie Mae Scott Simpson.

Walter was preceded in death by his parents, and son, Garnell Simpson.

Walter leaves to cherish fond memories, his wife, Carolyn Young Simpson, of the home; daughters, Katrina Ann Reese, Pendleton, SC; Kisha DeSue (Christopher) and Tawanda Walker, both of Anderson, SC; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are 11 am Monday in the Marvin R. Mattison Memorial Chapel, D. B. Walker Funeral Services with public viewing, Sunday from 2 -6 pm.

The family is at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Christopher and Kisha Desue, 1202 Travis Road, Anderson, SC.
