Willie Truman "Skeet" Simmons

Williamston, SC -Willie "Skeet" Simmons, 73, of  1 Minor Street, died Thursday, April 25, 2019 at the home of his daughter, 305 Stone Briar Lane, Easley, SC.

Born in Anderson County he was the son of Rochelle Simmons Sr. and Slemer McGee Simmons.  He retired from Sloan Construction in 2008.

He was preceded in death by his parents, infant son, Cordell Devon Simmons, five brothers, Booker T. Simmons, Lawrence Simmons, Rochelle Simmons Jr., Grady Simmons and Franklin E. Simmons; five sisters, Ruth Dotson, Ruby Evans, Allie Mae Clinkscales, Annie Bell Watson and Sadie Chamblee.

He is survived by his wife, Annie Ruth Dean Simmons, Piedmont, SC; daughter, Cassandra Simmons, Easley, SC; sister, Adell Jones, Anderson, SC; three grandchildren, Cordell S. Simmons, Greer, SC; Destiny and Ibriia Simmons, both of Easley, SC.

Funeral services are 2 pm Thursday in the Marvin Mattison Memorial Chapel, D. B. Walker Funeral Home with Rev. Derrell Dean officiating.   The family will receive friends Wednesday at the funeral home from 6:30 - 8 pm.

The family is at the home of his daughter, 305 Stone Briar Lane, Easley, SC.
