Aaron Joel Persephone’ Belton (AJ), 23, passed away Friday, August 2, 2024. Born in Anderson he was the son of Toccara K. Belton and Lawrence Boseman, Jr. He loved cars, drawing and building with his hands. He loves his family and friends.
AJ was a 2019 graduate of T. L. Hanna High School.
AJ leaves behind to cherish fond memories his mother, Toccara K. Belton; father, Lawrence Boseman, Jr.; Godparents, Leshekia & Phillip Merriweather; maternal grandmother, Rosalyn Belton; paternal grandmother, Lydia Boseman, all of Anderson, SC; fiancé’ Denisha Williams; sister, Antanisha Morrison; brother, Mason Jant; brothers and sisters, Maxwell-Morrison; Boseman Family; brothers & sisters, Robertson-Thomspon Family, all of Anderson, SC; three special aunts, Tiffany Morrison, Yolanda Robertson and Lanette Jones; two uncles, Dewayne Hall, all of Anderson, SC and Steven Belton of New York, with a host of loving relatives and friends.
AJ was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Aaron James Geer; paternal grandfather, Lawrence Boseman, Sr.; paternal great-grandmother, Lucille Geer; brother, Ja’Cody Boseman, cousin, Tanasia Boseman and a special friend Prince Osuagwu.
Funeral services are 1 pm Thursday, August 15, 2024, in the Marvin R. Mattison Memorial Chapel, D. B. Walker Funeral Services and public viewing will be Wednesday from 2 - 6 pm. Burial will follow the service in Westview Cemetery.
