Ben Richardson, 79, of 107 Stephens Road, died Friday, May 29, 2020, at AnMed Health.
Born in Pendleton, SC, he was the son of Charlie and Willie Belcher Richardson, a member of Silver Spring Baptist Church where he served as a Trustee, member of South Carolina Law Enforcement Officers Association (SCLEOA), and was a retired Deputy Sheriff of the Anderson County Sheriff Department.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Charles and David Richardson.
He leaves to cherish fond memories, his loving wife, Ida Mae Webb Richardson, of the home; one son, Stanley Tyrone (Missy) Richardson; daughter, Angela Denise Hayes; four grandchildren, Antonio Frederick Blanding (reared in the home), Marissa (Luke) Benoit, Alexis Richardson and Lukas Richardson; siblings, Bobby Richardson, Helen R. (Ben) Keese and Curtis Richardson; sister-in-law, Catherine Richardson, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

The body will be on view at the funeral home Monday, from 3-7 pm and services will be Tuesday, at 1 pm at Memory Garden, Clemson, SC with entombment to follow.
