Carl Erwin Oglesby

Carl Erwin Oglesby,50, of 103 Pleasant Valley Drive, Anderson, SC, passed away Saturday, June 24, 2023, at his home. Born in Iva, SC, he was the son of the late Wilhemina Oglesby.

He leaves to cherish fond memories, his wife, Kimberly Oglesby, Honea Path, SC; three sons, Shavoyae Bowman, Starr, SC; Devonte Oglesby and Kentayvias Mills, both of Anderson, SC; one daughter, T’Mya Oglesby, Anderson, SC; one grandson, Zy’Meir Bowman; one brother, Willie Joe Oglesby (Erin Burns), Iva, SC; three sisters, Debbie Oglesby Moss (John Moss), Belton, SC; Videe Oglesby (Michael Martin) and Velma Oglesby Belcher (Milton Belcher), both of Anderson, SC; other relatives and many friends.

The funeral service is 2 pm Friday at Crossroads CME Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  Public viewing is Thursday from 3-7 pm at the funeral home and the body will be placed in the church Friday at 1 pm.

The family is at the home and the home of his sister, Mr. & Mrs. Milton (Velma) Belcher, 496 Cherokee Street, Anderson, SC.
