Dallas Richard Clement, 83, died Saturday, February 17, 2018 at his home. He is the son of the late Booker T. Clement and Felicia Clinkscales Clement.
He leaves his wife of 63 years, Alberta Robinson Clement, his children, Gregory Clement (wife Thalia Clement); Denise Clement-Rollins (husband Woody Rollins); and Kelvin Clement (wife Tiffany Clement); his brother Rev. Cecil V. Clement (wife Geneva Clement); five grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was proceeded in death by his brother Marion Gardner Clement
At an early age he joined the Mount Zion Baptist church in Belton, SC. He graduated from Geer High School in Belton, SC and attended South Carolina State majoring in Agriculture in Orangeburg, SC. He had further studies in Agriculture at Michigan State; Wayne State; and other Universities. He retired from working from the United States Department of Agriculture Food Safety and Inspection Service in Washington, D.C. where for many years he was a Meat Inspector Specialist.
The funeral will be conducted by Rev. Dr. Lora F. Hargrove and will be held on Wednesday, 28th of February at 11:30a.m. Family Visitation: One hour prior to the funeral service at 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Mount Calvary Baptist Church, 608 Horner’s Lane, Rockville, MD 20850.
