Obituary
Deborah Denice Perry-Griffin, 68, formerly of Anderson, SC, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2023, at her home in Waynesboro, GA. Deborah was born in Evanston, Illinois and was the daughter of Ernest Perry Sr. and Mary Martin Perry.
Deborah was preceded in death by her husband, Harry D. Griffin, her parents, and sister-in-law, Alice Perry.
Deborah leaves to cherish fond memories, one son, Peter Perry (Nika) Neal, Hephzibah, GA; two daughters, Tamu-Aki Neal, Chicago Heights, IL and Chiante Perry (Antonio Johnson), Chicago, IL; four grandchildren; one brother, Ernest Perry Jr. of Gurnee, IL; two sisters, Diane Perry, Anderson, SC and Donna (Dr. Keith) Perry-Johnson, Columbia, SC; other relatives and many friends.
Services will be 12 noon Saturday, February 18, 2023, at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. A viewing will be from 3-7 pm Friday, February 17, 2023 in the chapel of D.B. Walker Funeral Services.
Family members are at their respective homes.
