Jerolyn Mozelle Wilkerson
Belton, SC - Mrs. Jerolyn Mozelle Williams Wilkerson entered into eternal rest on January 31, 2021. Mozelle was the daughter of the late Foster Williams and Miriam Jenkins Williams. She was preceded in death by one sister, Judy Webb.
She joined Welfare Baptist Church at an early age and later moved her membership to Liberty Baptist Church to join her husband David L. Wilkerson in fellowship. Mozelle was always a loving and devoted Christian. She was active with the Deaconess, Missionary and various organizations of the church.
Mozelle attended Crossroad, Geer Elementary and graduated from Geer-Gantt High School in 1963. Later in life, she attended Tri-County Tech. Mozelle was an employee of Dow-Badische/BASF and AnMed Family Practice of Anderson.
Mozelle was an avid bowler in multiple leagues.
Mozelle was a gracious and loving person who was always concerned about others. She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband David L. Wilkerson of the home; two sons, Jerrold Wilkerson of Simpsonville, SC and Jabari Wilkerson (Latausha) of Anderson, SC; one sister, Joyce Mitchell (John) of Anderson, SC; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a host of cousins, family and friends.
Funeral services will be 1 pm Saturday under the pavilion of Welfare Baptist Church with Rev. Kenneth Harrison presiding; public viewing will be Friday from 3-7 pm at the funeral home and an hour before the service on Saturday at the Welfare Baptist Church Pavilion. Interment will take place Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at the MJ "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
The family is at the home, 1201 Johns Avenue, Belton, SC.
