Kenneth Lamont Irby

Kenneth Lamont Irby, 48, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2026. Born in Anderson, SC, he was the son of Vera Irby Glenn and Robert Glenn.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, grandparents, Irene Irby-Brown, Robert Earl Irby, Tugaloo and Ethel Glenn.

Kenneth is survived by five daughters, Shae and Nae Maxwell, Alani Irby, Nneka Ibekwe, and Ny’Jyahi; son, Najee Irby; his mother, Vera Irby (Donnie) Davis; two brothers, Byron Irby and Wadud (Dr. Laneika) Musalini; one sister, Vivian (Jackie) Irby-Brown, all of Anderson, SC; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral service is 2 pm on Friday in the Marvin R. Mattison Memorial Chapel, D. B. Walker Funeral Services, with burial to follow in Westview Cemetery.

The family is at his mother's home, 332 West Reed Street, Anderson, SC.
