Born in Williamsburg, VA, he had been in Anderson, SC for many years and was employed with Family Auto for 8 years.

He is survived by a special and devoted friend, Judy Harkness, of the home; sister, Eyonne Cowles, Miami, FL and brother, Leon Cowles, Williamsburg, Va.

Memorial services are 2 pm Wednesday in the Marvin Mattison Memorial Chapel, D. B. Walker Funeral Home.
