Margaret Williams Obituary

Margaret Ree Dean Williams, 78, widower of Clinton Williams, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 in her home. Born in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of James O'Dell Dean and Mamie Wilhelmenia Reid Dean.

She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and two brothers, Arthur Jess Dean and Calvin Dean.

Margaret leave behind to cherish fond memories her children, Everett Williams (Joyce), of Easley, SC, and Renee Verdell (Robert), of Piedmont, SC; four brothers, Willie, Douglas, Jerry (Linda), and Milton Dean, all of Williamston, SC; two sisters, Leola Gambrell of Williamston, SC and Annie Ruth Simmons of Piedmont, SC; five grandchildren, Markita Williams, Cresheena Clinkscales, Salacia Williams, Malachi Verdell and Mordecai Verdell and 9 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services are 2 pm Sunday, February 14, at the Fairfield United Methodist Church Cemetery, Piedmont, SC and Mrs. Williams will be on view Saturday from 3 - 7pm at the funeral home.  

The family is at the home, 111 Ashley Drive, Pelzer, SC.

PLEASE PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCING AND WEAR A MASK AT ALL TIMES WHILE VISITING THE FUNERAL HOME AND DURING THE FUNERAL SERVICE!
