Ruby Alvene (McAdams) Bobo

Ruby Alvene McAdams Bobo, 65, of 403 Dickens Street, Anderson, SC, died Monday, April 1, 2024, at AnMed Health Medical Center.

Born in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of Willie Lee McAdams and Sylvene Johnson McAdams.  Ruby was a graduate of T. L. Hanna High School and had worked in food service at AnMed.  She was a member of Mt. Carmel CME Church.

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Sally Johnson Scott, and two brothers, James McAdams and John L. McAdams.

Ruby leaves to cherish fond memories, two sisters, Dorothy M. Harris (Bobby), Anderson, SC and Bessie McAdams (Norlanda Mosley), Surprise, AZ; three brothers, Leroy McAdams, Anderson, SC; Anthony McAdams (Patti), Fountain Inn, SC and Richard Lee McAdams (Ana Marie), Lake Wells, FL; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral service is 3 pm Saturday at Mt. Carmel CME Church with viewing at the funeral home Friday from 2 -6 pm.

The family is at the home of her sister and brother-in-law, Bobby and Dorothy McAdams Harris, 510 Visage Drive, Anderson, SC.
