Velvet JoAnn Thompson, 61, of 180 River Oaks Drive, died Sunday, June 16, 2019. Born in Due West, she was the daughter of Marion Thompson and Mamie Dukes Thompson.

Velvet leaves behind to cherish fond memories her daughter, Trina Michelle Thompson and granddaughter Latrina LonTay Thompson.

Memorial Service is 2 pm Sunday in the Marvin R. Mattison Memorial Chapel, D. B. Walker Funeral Services.

The family is at home of her niece, Keyana Edwards, 104 River Oak Drive, Anderson, SC.
