William Aikens, 75, of Champaign, IL., passed away Saturday, February 1, 2025.
Born in Anderson County, he was the son of the late Ernest Jenkins and Annie L. Vandiver.
He leaves to cherish fond memories, sons, Russell (Melrose) Aikens, Easley, SC; Michael R. Aikens, Anderson, SC; Andre (Tanga) Aikens, Greenville, SC; Edward Taylor, Milan, TN; and Jarvis Aikens, Pendleton, SC; daughters, Lisa (Terry) Blanding, Easley, SC; Brandy Aikens, Humboldt, TN; Klishsia Taylor, Seneca, SC; Angela Fuller and Vicky (James) Taylor, both of Milan, TN; fifteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; God-sister, Angela (Rev. Darrell) Sands, Piedmont, SC; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral service is 1:00 pm Saturday, February 15th, at Clemson United Methodist Church, Clemson, SC and the body will be placed in the church at 12 noon; burial will follow in the Webb Cemetery, Pendleton, SC. Public viewing is 3 -7 pm Friday at D. B. Walker Funeral Services, Anderson, SC.
